How To
Create The Life Of Your Dreams!
Who doesn’t want to be successful? It is the American
way to achieve
your dreams and live happily ever after. For some of us
success flows from everything we do, while others have
to work a little harder and change course from time to
time. Regardless of which of these categories you fall
into, here are five principles for true success:
·
Create Your Vision
· Feel
the Outcome Now
· Make
Space for Your Dream
· Take
Right Action
· Appreciate
Signs that Your Dream is on its Way
Create Your Vision
The
first step to creating the life of your dreams is to
have a clear vision of what that looks like for you. But
before you envision your dream life; you need to make
sure that you are ready for what you’re putting out to
the universe. Be honest with yourself on this one.
Perhaps your dream calls for a lot of traveling, and you
have a dog at home that you’re not ready to board. Or,
maybe you would like to own a successful business, but
have no interest in managing other people.
Bottom
Line:
If you are not 100% ready for what you desire, it will
not come.
Once
you’ve made sure that you’re not sending out mixed
messages, you can proceed with the next step of making
space for your dream.
Make Space for Your Dream
In
order for something new to come into your life, it needs
to have a place to land. This goes for everything,
including your thoughts. Human beings think the same
thoughts over and over. Your thoughts may or may not
support the new life you’re trying to create. An
undisciplined mind undermines success like nothing else.
A good place to start is to get rid of negative thought
patterns and replace them with positive statements that
support your dreams. Then you’ll want to look at your
physical surroundings. If you have junk lying around,
clear it out immediately.
Bottom Line: Get rid of the old to make room for the
new.
Once
you’ve cleared your head and your house, get comfortable
with the emptiness. It’s tempting to fill the new space
with anything, just because your used to the clutter.
Sit in the openness long enough to allow your dreams to
arrive.
Take Right Action
Success
requires us to take appropriate action each day. Like
building a house one brick at a time, right action moves
us steadily toward our destination. How do you know what
action to take? Take time each morning to focus on what
you want and then decide what steps to take for that
day. Keep in mind that having a balance of activity and
rest is essential, and a universal principle on which
all life is based. Constant action is not required, but
right action is.
Bottom Line: Small steps lead to great places.
Follow
your instincts on this one. You may feel inspired to
email a friend, who happens to refer you to a great
contact!
Feeling the Outcome
A
vision is like a template, or form that attracts the
essence of what you want. The next step is to magnetize
the template so that it powerfully attracts your dream.
Magnetizing occurs when you feed it attention and
energy. You can do this by feeling your dream life as if
it is already here.
Bottom Line: If you always chase your dream, it will
always be just out of reach.
Don’t
chase your dream, live it. Rest in it, and finally
celebrate it.
Appreciate Signs that
Your Dream is on its Way
Finally, notice all the little signs that indicate that
your dream is coming to fruition. Dreams are like
soufflés, if you keep checking to see if it is baking,
it deflates. The closest we come to seeing our dreams
turn to reality are the signs that pop up along the way.
Perhaps it’s a supporting email from a mentor, or
finding a great deal on a piece of business equipment.
These small signs are like the wonderful baking smells
that tell you your soufflé is coming along just fine.
Bottom Line: If you keep noticing that nothings
happening, nothing will happen.
Celebrate even the smallest victories, knowing that your
on the right track and your dream is on its way.
