Michelle Wright, the founder of Meshel’s is very excited about her new salon and day spa located at The Islands in Gilbert. She worked in one of Boston’s Top Ten Salons, and now brings to her salon more than 20 years of professional experience which includes hair design and innovation, hair color certification and salon management.

She smiles as she explains how Meshel’s is not your typical high-end salon, “We’re still old school. We exemplify what the core of the industry was built on – personalized service with attention to detail and quality,” explains Michelle. 

“We’re not one of those high-end ‘assembly line salons’ where you are moved from station to station or person to person, and we are not the typical cookie-cutter or fast-cut shop. Our service is based upon the individual client’s needs, and when you work together as a Client Focused Team utilizing the best products available, the customers take notice!  The other aspect which defines our establishment is you do not have to be all ‘dolled-up’ to come into the salon. We are a very friendly and welcoming salon. Everyone needs a high-end salon where you can feel very comfortable coming in as you are and not feel like you are on display… but can leave the salon looking great and feeling completely rejuvenated.”

Michelle is married to Michael Wright, owner of DJL+A inc., an architectural firm that specializes in the design of forensic laboratories (Medical Examiner Facilities and Crime Labs). Together Michael and Michelle have four children. Both his and her extended families live here in the Valley.
